Striving to prepare students excel spiritually, academically, and socially to be effective servants of Christ in is the foundation of Faith Community Christian School. FCCS students are consistently working on or above grade level and often achieve test scores higher than the state average. Our goal is that they will develop a love for learning and will become prepared to apply what they have learned for the rest of their lives.

CSI Faith Community Christian School is accredited by and is a member of Christian Schools International.

MANS Faith Community Christian School is a member of the Michigan Association of Non-public Schools.

Class Size

Faith Community Christian School sets class size upper limits that are dependant on the grade level. Every attempt is made to keep classes sizes within the boundaries. If the need for larger classes is apparent, the Education Committee and School Board create a plan and resources to ensure that students receive the best education possible.

Under these guidelines,

* Kindergarten class size is less than or equal to 18 students per class.
* First & second grade classes are at less than or equal to 22 students per class.
* Third and fourth grade classes are less than or equal to 24 students per class.

The average class size for the 2010-1 school year is 10 students per class.

Curriculum

Faith is committed to academic excellence. We provide a comprehensive curriculum taught from a Christian perspective, integrating Biblical principles into all areas of the curriculum.

In addition to the core subjects of language arts, math, science and social studies, Faith has specialized instructors in each of the following areas: Art, Music, Physical Education, & technology. Our story based Bible curriculum is published by Christian Schools International.

Tuition Assistance

Christian education is a valuable, but costly opportunity. We feel that the alternative is even more costly in reality, which is why Faith Community Christian School strives to offer tuition assistance to those who appreciate the importance of Christian  values in education, but whose children cannot attend for financial reasons.
